Alan Ren is currently the Founder and CEO of uCareer.net, a new generation of career website utilizing web2.0 features and applications to help people with career advancement. Mr. Ren is also the Co-Founder and COO of Thoof, a news, information and production recommendation company. Prior to founding Thoof, Mr. Ren was vice president of Revver, a video-sharing site that tracks and monetizes videos as they spread across the web. Prior to joining Revver, Mr. Ren served as director at Sony Connect, an online media arm of Sony featuring online video and music store. Mr. Ren also founded and served as CEO of ACG Inc, a consulting firm focusing on CRM system design and implementation . Previously, Mr. Ren served as Sr. Manager of planning for Gateway Computer’s Mobile Products Division. Mr. Ren was also the Founder and CTO of Golden Button, a pioneer Chinese social site. Mr. Ren studied Information Technology at University Of California, Irvine and earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
